Julie was born in 1751 and died in 1816, later being canonized in 1969. She became paralyzed after witnessing her father being shot but was miraculously able to walk again after saying a Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus at the request of her priest friend. Julie taught catechism to field workers during their breaks and helped spread spirituality, becoming the patron saint of catechists.
